Metamorhphosis

A visual identity concept for the Bavarian State Ballet, exploring metamorphosis through AI-generated dancers, vibrant colors and experimental typography.

Metamorphosis is a visual identity and cross-media campaign concept developed for the Bavarian State Ballet’s season as part of a university project. Informed by research into communication challenges within the performing arts, the project explores how ballet can connect with established audiences and younger viewers through a contemporary visual language. I reworked AI-generated images of dancers using mirrored compositions, glitch effects and vibrant colours to express movement and transformation. The dancers take on abstract, shifting forms, while the typography brings the imagery together into a cohesive identity. The campaign extends across posters, brochures, banners and animated social media content, maintaining a consistent visual language while adapting to the possibilities of each format.
