A generative exploration of shells and snails, transforming natural structures into abstract digital forms through TouchDesigner.

I was inspired by photographic studies of shells and snails that reveal the geometric and sculptural qualities of natural forms. Photographers such as Alfred Ehrhardt, Imogen Cunningham, and Bernard F. Eilers approached shells not as biological specimens, but as objects that revealed rhythm, symmetry, structure, and abstraction through light and composition. By reconstructing and transforming shell forms in TouchDesigner, I extend this exploration into a digital environment. Through color transformations, motion, and generative systems, I reinterpret these organic structures.
