PolkaDots Pumpkin.exe

An experimental motion series reinterpreting Yayoi Kusama’s polka dots and pumpkin forms through generative patterns, rhythm and digital repetition.

PolkaDots Pumpkin.exe is a generative art series inspired by Yayoi Kusama’s visual universe of polka dots, pumpkins and infinity. Developed in TouchDesigner, the project translates these references into moving patterns, exploring how repetition can create a sense of continuity and expansion. I shaped the concept and art direction around the relationship between organic form and computational structure. The pumpkin becomes a starting point for digital experimentation, while repeated dots establish a visual rhythm through motion. The series brings an artistic reference into a new medium, exploring how its visual principles can be reinterpreted through generative processes.
