Evolution Error / Being A Human
Evolution Error is part of Possible Neverland, a visual series exploring how artificial intelligence might reshape our sense of being human. Human, animal and synthetic features merge into hybrid bodies, turning physical transformation into a metaphor for changes in identity, behaviour and self-perception. These figures embody a tension between technological advancement and the loss of individuality. Their altered forms raise a question: as we adapt to the systems we create, at what point do we begin to lose touch with ourselves? I developed the concept and visual direction using AI to explore the very transformation the project questions. The series reflects on the possibility that becoming more technologically capable may also mean becoming less recognisably human.
