Tinguely Museum Identiy

A visual identity concept for the Tinguely Museum, translating the movement of kinetic art into expressive typography and dynamic graphic forms.

The Tinguely Museum is located in Basel, Switzerland, and is dedicated to the works of the Swiss artist Jean Tinguely. In creating the visual identity of the Tinguely museum, I aimed to take into account the museum's unique characteristics, its mission and the experience it offers to visitors. Kinetic & Contemporary Art; I created the identity by combining the kinetic art of Jean Tinguely, which the museum fundamentally unites, with the vision of contemporary art that the museum embodies Visual Elements; The dynamic art of the kinetic sculpture collection is used in the museum and tried to produce modern lines that reflect the contemporary art exhibition. I created a visually appealing, recognizable and dynamic logo and I used a main color that evokes creativity, movement and modernity. In addition to dynamic graphical elements, contemporary art elements were added with modern font usage and design approach. The logo was primarily based on the "Megas-cope" font, which was chosen to match the Museum's corporate identity. Some of the letters of the logo have been visually changed to make it more coherent, and the graphic elements used in the entire corporate identity are also included in the font.
